要約(日本語): In order to increase the efficiency of the Gas Engine Cogeneration System (GECS), it is proposed to adopt a matrix converter (MC). Since the MC connects a three-phase generator to a single phase utility, the inertia of the generator has to absorb the power pulsation due to single phase power. An interaction between the generator and the MC should be considered. Torque pulsation of the gas engine should also be considered. To investigate these subjects, we have made a real time simulation system for the GECS with the MC. The simulation models of the gas engine and the generator have been validated through the comparison between simulation and experiment.
