要約(日本語): Conventional modal analysis is carried out offline by running small-signal stability analysis tool with priori knowledge of system configuration and all necessary component parameters. As an important outcome, participation factor is computed as a measure of relative participation of one state variable in one mode. It helps to properly select most suitable input signal and installation location for oscillation damping controller. One deficiency of participation factor is that its result is only applicable to the corresponding specific system structure and operating condition since offline modal analysis is performed one time based on the system linearization model. This work proposes an online scheme to estimate such participation information based on multiple phasor measurements and auto-spectrum analysis.
