要約(日本語): The paper presents the results from an investigation done using Power(P), inertia time constant (H) and speed(ω), respectively and the rotor angle (δ) to determine the Centre of Angle (COA), for a group of generators in a system. A dynamic equivalent model was developed based on generators coherency identification. The coherent groups of generators were identified from the load flow data based on Eigenvalues, Eigenvectors and the participation factors. The identified coherent groups of generators were aggregated using the Centre of Angles (COA) algorithm, to form equivalent generators in the coherent areas. The transient stability of the system was assessed and the critical clearing time (CCT) determined based on the COA calculated using P,H and ω respectively.
