要約(日本語): New controlled shunt capacitor for induction generator voltage control is presented. The proposed system concerned with two schemes of SVC MERS (Static Var Compensator Magnetic Energy recovery Switch) which are applying two power switches called 2-switch MERS and one power switch called 1-switch MERS. It consists of a bidirectional current switch and a dc capacitor. Both of them are applying soft-switching with low switching frequency resulting in low switching losses. From the point of view of power switch, 2-switch MERS has advantage in low conduction losses and 1-switch MERS has the least number of power switches. Moreover, only 1 gate drive is required per phase resulting in low cost device.
