要約(日本語): It is necessary to remove the electromagnetic (EM) waves reflected at the power equipment when a partial discharge (PD) source is localized. One of the conventional techniques is to estimate the direction-of-arrival (DOA) of EM waves emitted from the PD source. The signal subspace method which uses an eigenstructure of the correlation matrix obtained from the received signals is useful for estimating DOA, e.g. the classic MUSIC (MUltiple SIgnal Classification) method. Because the MUSIC is a narrowband method, several other signal subspace methods to estimate the wideband signals are introduced, e.g. CSSM (Coherent Signal Subspace Method), TOPS (Test of Orthogonality of Projected Subspace), and TOFS (Test of Orthogonality of Frequency Subspace). As the fundamental study, we simulate the propagation of EM waves emitted from a PD source in free space without noise influence by using the FDTD (Finite Difference Time Domain) method, and estimate the DOA by using these wideband signal subspace methods.
