要約(日本語): This paper reports the design, fabrication and evaluation of field emission multi electron source with an ability of optical control of electron emissions from each emitter. PN junction is formed in the silicon emitters, and during the operation reverse bias is applied to the junction. Irradiation of light to the emitter causes carrier genera-tion and electrons are emitted from the tip. Optical control of emission is demonstrated using the PN junction emitter.
