要約(日本語): In a motor protein system (kinesin/microtubule), individual microtubules were captured and relocated to build a complex nano-scale transport system. Microtweezers were used to capture polarity-marked microtubules to construct an oriented track along which kinesin-coated beads move according to microtubule polarities. This technique can be used for engineering purposes such as a molecular sorter as well as for scientific purposes to study motor protein behavior in single molecule experiments such as kinesin motion along overlapping/crossing microtubules.
