要約(日本語): This paper presents the basic torque control of a new electromagnetic spherical actuator with three-degree-of-freedom. The actuator is capable of rotating freely around any axis. It was found that the theory of field-oriented control can be applied to this actuator, showing that the relationship between torque and current agreed well with that of numerical result by 3-D FEM.
