要約(日本語): To diagnose the condition of power distribution equipments, is necessary to measure insulation resistance precisely. However conventional methods usually require the complete shutdown of the connected equipments. In this study, electrical insulation degradation of unsaturated polyester, which is used as insulating material of power distribution equipments, is investigated by measuring electrical discharge sound. A new method is proposed for evaluating the insulation resistance of the unsaturated polyester material according to the electrical discharge sound whose frequency range is 10 to 15kHz.
