要約(日本語): The inductively coupled thermal plasma (ICTP) is widely used as an effective heat and chemical source to various material processing. One application of the ICTP is nanopowder synthesis.In this report, we fundamentally investigated thermal interactions between titanium (Ti) feedstock powder and Ar thermal plasma as a test case for Ti nanopowder synthesis, by using the developed numerical model.The result show that temperature in plasma torch without Ti feedstock powder is bigger than with Ti feedsock powder. Mass concentration in Ar thermal plasma with Ti feedstock powder has produces a high density region of Ti vapor downstream of the plasma torch.
