要約(日本語): The surge voltage and current induced by artificial lightning in an automotive body were observed to investigate the potential risks to vehicle's electric and electronic systems. The magnitude of the surge voltage measured at the metal body varied significantly with ground points and suggested that the vehicle body was not an ideal conductor.The artificial lightning current exhibited a high frequency ringing on top of the transient response of the measurement system, and indicated an influence of the automotive body on the lightning response.
