要約(日本語): This paper proposes a voltage-source converter high voltage direct current (VSC HVDC) system as an effective solution to install huge wind farms in a East Japan power system while guaranteeing the small-signal stability. The economic benefits of the VSC HVDC system is evaluated by optimal power flow (OPF) calculation with small-signal stability constrained. Two cases, with and without considering the tie line operation, are compared as well.
