要約(日本語): Due to environmental and cost constraints, electricity demand in aerospace increases, toward More Electrical Aircrafts and all-electrical aircrafts(1). This led to increased voltage in recent aircrafts, 230/400 Vac and ± 270 Vdc. One of the most severe issue in aircraft environment is electric arc. This risk is increased in presence of Foreign Object Debris (FOD), small conductive pieces that can initiate electric arc by a short-circuit. In this paper, the evolution of electric arc dimensions during time is studied.
