要約(日本語): A high power IPMSM is proposed in this paper with a rated output power of 250kW and torque of 400N-m. The power density of this machine is calculated to be 45kW/L. The proposed design is realized for a drive system driven by inverter with 355V DC input. The current density is taken to be 21A(rms)/mm2. The current and voltage behavior is studied and owing to the low voltage design, the parallel paths in each phase is evaluated to be eight. The efficiency of this machine is found to be very high at 98.3% for low load and high speed range.
