要約(日本語): Bearingless motors have applications where mechanical contact should be avoided and highly reliable operation is a must. This paper presents results obtained through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of a single-drive axially controlled bearingless motor with high torque density and high radial stability when compared to other publications that fall in the same category. Two model types are presented. One that excels in torque density and another one that excels in passive radial stability. The tradeoff between passive stability and torque density will be thoroughly analyzed.
