要約(日本語): In order to cope with the penetration of renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic and wind turbine, it is of prime importance to keep supply and demand balance with proper frequency regulation. It is expected that inertial response control of wind turbine is effective to mitigate frequency drop in the case of sudden disconnection of any generating plant. In particular, this fast frequency response is needed to improve ROCOF (rate of change of frequency) and frequency nadir when moment of inertia of the entire system decreases because a part of conventional generators is replaced with asynchronous generators such as renewable energy sources. In this paper, a possibility that inertial response control can contribute to frequency regulation in normal condition is examined.
