要約(日本語): This paper proposed the operation of pulse density modulation for a switch-capacitor-based resonant converter. The proposed operation makes it possible to maintain the soft-switching transition with low resonant inductor voltage stress at the whole light load range. Hence, it improves the power-conversion efficiency since the SCRC produces a negligible amount of switching power loss and low inductor core loss. These advantages distinguish PDM with burst-mode control, which the burst-mode operation suffers from the unavoidable switching power loss.
