要約(日本語): Bearingless motors have applications where mechanical contact should be avoided and highly reliable operation is a must. This paper presents results obtained through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of a bearingless motor that is passively stabilized in the axial direction by null-flux coils. To improve passive suspension force, a range of rotational speeds and magnetic flux densities were tested. Varying magnetic flux density proved to be more effective for enhancement of passive axial forces.
