要約(日本語): Over the years, much research has been conducted on a two-phase inverter as a low-cost inverter and as an emergency strategy for the conventional three-phase inverter-fed AC motor drive. In the conventional three-phase inverter-fed induction motor drive, the vector control method is known to attain better motor performance compared to the volts per hertz (V/f) control method. In this paper, a comparison between V/f control and vector control methods of two-phase inverter-fed three-phase induction motor drive is investigated using the same experimental apparatus. The experimental results show that in the two-phase inverter-fed three-phase induction motor drive, the vector control method can attain higher maximum output torque and better motor efficiency than the V/f control method drive in a similar tendency to the three-phase inverter drives.
