要約(日本語): In this article, it is referred about some individual harmonics measured at Point of Common Coupling (PCC) at the Moma Substation in Nampula Province Mozambique which are above the maximum values admissible according to the IEEE 519 -2014 standardization. This harmonics are result of non- linear loads, VSD (Variable Speed Drives) existing in Moma mining factory which are affecting the utility system.These harmonics can cause energy losses, overheating, overloading in electrical network and malfunction of many equipment.In other to solve this problem and improve power quality, it is proposed to use Harmonic mitigation Techniques.So it is proposed the use of Shunt Passive Filter as a solution of low cost and best performance.
