要約(日本語): With the growing amount of photovoltaic (PV) systems connected to distribution networks (DNs), an implementation of smart inverters with advanced functions are currently being considered in Japan. The volt-var function is one of the advanced functions to mitigate voltage problems caused by reverse power flow from PV systems. However, it generally increases distribution losses. Also, it is not realistic to optimize all inverter settings for voltage control and losses suppression throughout the DN. Thus, zone-based volt-var settings are investigated to provide a practical solution. In this study, we use genetic algorithm (GA) to determine the zone-based volt-var settings and evaluate voltage control and distribution losses.
