要約(日本語): Heating Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC) loads are one of the candidates for FastADR Demand response system. However, the response of HVAC loads does not perfectly follow external control signals. Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) can be useful in supplementing power consumption of HVAC loads in following FastADR signals. In order to reduce the capacity of BESS for this purpose, its SOC should be recovered quickly for the next response. This study proposes a coordinated control of HVAC loads and BESS to restore SOC without affecting total electricity load. The effect of the system’s operation on indoor temperature is also studied.
