要約(日本語): 日本古代文献は、日本の歴史と文化を理解するための重要な役割を担っているため、解読する必要がある。しかし、経年劣化による文字の欠損や汚れなどが生じており、判読が困難な場合がある。本研究は深層学習のGAN技術を用いて、古代文献の修復を目指す。GANをベースとした画像変換モデルである、pix2pixとCycleGANに、SEblockを組み込んで少量のパラメータ増加で文献修復の精度を向上させた。

要約(英語): Ancient Japanese documents of great historical value are subject to various types of deterioration. Therefore, we are restoring ancient Japanese documents using GAN-based pix2pix and cycleGAN. We also report that the accuracy was improved with a small increase in parameters by inserting SEblocks during the generation period.
