要約(英語): We reported recent progresses in high power semiconductor laser diodes and LEDs and their industrial applications. First, we reported recent progresses in high power LD / LED light sources, including eight visible / near infrared light sources, two infrared light sources, and two ultra violet light sources. Secondly, we reported industrial applications of higher power LD / LED light sources. They are three reports on medical / bio-medical applications, two reports on applications to automobile industry, two reports on applications to agriculture, one report on regulations for safety usage, two reports on applications in satellite communications, one report on applications to semiconductor electronic device processing technologies, one report on manufacturing technology using high power light sources, and one report on progresses of high power LDs in a German company. Thirdly, we reported three summaries of international conferences related to high power LDs and LEDs.
