要約(日本語): 産業用の直動システムは，油圧及び空気圧シリンダ，または回転形モータの動作をボールねじ等で機械的に直線動作に変換するものが主流であった。1980年代から，物流システムや工場内搬送装置として用いられてきたリニアモータは，高推力化設計技術とセンサ・制御技術の進歩に伴い，現在では産業用途にも広く用いられている。それに伴い，リニアモータを駆動源としたリニア電磁駆動システムにはより高い機能が求められている。このような状況において，リニア電磁駆動システムに使われる要素技術を調査した結果が，下記の技術報告書として出版された。 ・産業用リニア電磁駆動システムの要素技術とその動向，電気学会技術報告書第1154号（2009） 本報告書はその続編にあたる。本報告書では以下について詳しく述べている。 (1) 産業用リニア電磁駆動システムの適用分野 (2) 産業用リニア電磁駆動システムに用いられる要素技術 (3) 産業用リニア電磁駆動システムの適用による実用事例 先に出版された報告書と本報告書をそろえてご参考いただくことにより，リニア電磁駆動システムに使われるリニアモータや要素技術，その応用についてより一層理解が深まり，リニア電磁駆動システムのさらなる高性能化を実現できる。

要約(英語): In this past, industrial linear motion systems chiefly used a hydraulic cylinder, pneumatic cylinder or ball screw driven with rotary motor. The linear motor which has been used for devices in the logistics and factory transportation in 1980's is being widely used also for industrial devices involving the advancement of the design of making high thrust technology and the sensor and control technology now. Accordingly a higher function is being requested to the linear electromagnetic drive system which uses a linear motor along with it. In this situation, the result of investigating the linear electromagnetic drive system were published in the following technical report. • Elemental technology use for industrial linear electromagnetic drive systems and their trend, Technical report No.1154 (2009) This report is the sequel. In this report, the followings are described in detail; (1) Application field of the system, (2) Elemental technology used for the system, (3) Case where the system or elemental technologies are used. Referring not only to this report but also the report previously published deepens the understanding of linear motors, elemental technologies used for the system and the applications more, and makes the system a higher function.
