要約(英語): Applications of biomedical photonics are rapidly expanding as new techniques for high resolution biomedical imaging and low invasive diagnostic and treatment. The committee was set up with the aim of research and development of new applications in biomedical photonics under collaboration of engineers, biologists, and physicians. This report summarizes recent development in biomedical photonics for biomedical imaging, low invasive endoscopic treatment and other novel techniques that were investigated by the committee.
