要約(英語): Insulated wires, cables and accessories used in power distribution equipment are used in a wide variety of regions, connection forms, and weather conditions. Moreover, in order to respond to various usage environments and needs, it has been improved with attention to public safety, reliability and economy. In the future, in response to changes in the environment surrounding power facilities, it is expected that new needs will be generated, seeking greater public safety, reliability, and economic efficiency. This report describes the technological transition, functions and structure of insulated electric wires, cables and accessories that have been improved to meet various usage environments and needs. Furthermore, new needs and issues based on the future social situation are described.
