要約(日本語): 電気学会　電子・情報・システム部門では，2020年10月に「エネルギーデータを対象としたAI，IoT技術の適用に関する調査専門委員会」を発足させた。本技術報告は同委員会の調査活動の成果をまとめたものである。 本技術報告では，エネルギーデータに対するAIとIoT技術の適用の状況を把握するため，「発電（火力などの従来電源）」，「再生可能エネルギー」，「送配電・マイクログリッド」，「需要家・水素・蓄エネルギー」の4つの分野について，論文調査と特許調査を行った。分野別の論文調査と特許調査ではそれぞれ，AIとIoT技術とその目的について分析し，事例を元にその動向について報告した。 本技術報告は6つの章から構成される。1章では，本委員会の目的と活動内容について述べる。2章では，本技術報告におけるAI，IoTに関する定義とAI，IoT技術の概要と一般的な課題ついて報告する。3章では，日本におけるエネルギーデータに対するAIとIoT技術の適用に関する課題を示す。4章では，エネルギー分野におけるAIとIoT技術の適用の事例として，上記4つの分野について，論文調査と特許調査を行った結果を報告する。5章では，エネルギー分野へのAI，IoT技術の適用を進めるスタートアップ企業の動向の調査結果を紹介する。6章にて本技術報告をまとめる。

要約(英語): This technical report describes the results of research activities by Investigating R&D Committee on Application of AI and IoT technology to Energy Data, which was established in October 2020 by Electronics, Information and Systems Society of IEEJ. To grasp the status of application of AI and IoT technology to energy data, this technical report surveyed academic papers and patents in four areas: “conventional power plant”, “renewable energy”, “power transmission and distribution, and microgrid”, and “consumer, hydrogen, and energy storage”. The academic paper and patent surveys for each area analyzed AI and IoT technology and their objectives, and reported the trends based on the typical examples. This report consists of six chapters. Chapter 1 describes the purpose and activities of this committee. Chapter 2 defines AI and IoT technology in this report and describes their overview and issues. Chapter 3 illustrates an issue about applying AI and IoT technology to energy data in Japan. Chapter 4 reports the results of the academic paper and patent surveys. Chapter 5 shows trends of start-ups applying AI and IoT to the energy sector. Chapter 6 is devoted to conclusion.
