要約(英語): The “Explanation of Load Dispatching Terms” was revised in IEEJ Technical Report No.977 (published in August 2004) and has been used as a glossary of technical terms in this field. However, even after the revision, along with electricity systems reform including separation of power generation and transmission has progressed, the environment surrounding load dispatching operation has changed significantly, and the matters that must be considered in load dispatching operation have also changed because of the establishment of various electricity trading markets, widening the operation of demand and supply, and the rapid expansion of interconnections of renewable energy such as solar and wind power generation. Furthermore, in order to adaptation to these changes, the functions of load dispatching system that is introduced in order to carry out load dispatching operation smoothly and reliably are enriched and sophisticated. Due to the changes mentioned above, the number of new load dispatching terms has increased, so this investigating R&D committee organized the research and analysis results by referring to literature and questionnaire surveys and glossaries from overseas organizations.
