要約(英語): The Hoshikubo area of Amami-Oshima was surveyed by electric exploration. Electric resistivity was measured in the ground as deep as 50 m, and a three-dimensional map was developed from the profiles obtained to estimate the composition of the subsurface rock. The results of the analysis of cores drilled from the rock indicate that rock zones showing low resistivity in the electric exploration are rich in Fe and Ni.
