要約(日本語): In the paper, a local linearization approach is adopted for approximating the swing equations. Then we work out static VAR compensators (SVC) for stabilizing individual generators, using pole assignment. The stabilization algorithms possess many advantages, and can cope with damping windings and disturbances, resulting in robust stabilization. The resulting SVCs can also accommodate transient and steady-state performances on the generator. In contrast, with the equal area criterion, neither damping windings nor disturbances can be dealt with accurately. Lyapunov methods are also employed for stabilizing synchronous generators, which involve nonlinear control and are of high conservatism.
