要約(日本語): In recent years, the rapid deveopment of power electronics and the rising need for long distance power transfer has increased interest in High Voltage Direct Current transmission (HVDC), especially for the interconnection of non-synchronous networks, long distance bulk transport of electrical energy, and submarine and underground cable transmission.The operation of conventional line-commutated HVDC systems has been investigated extensively. Recently, the incorporation of energy storage, especially Superconducting Magentic Energy Storage (SMES) with power systems for load leveling or power system stabilization has gained more interest. In wind power generators, energy storage has been used to help smoothen the fluctuating wind generator output power.This paper discusses an HVDC system with energy storage. It proposes a circuit and a control scheme for HVDC system with energy storage.
