要約(日本語): ***************************** The membership is in progress.***************************** The oceans have a tremendous amount of energy and are close to many if not most concentrated populations. Many researches show that ocean energy has the potentiality of providing for a substantial amount of new renewable energy around the world. The oceans remain a vast and largely untapped source of renewable dikes in the form of fluid flow (currents, waves, and tides), thermal and salinity gradients. Several means of extracting energy from the ocean have been tried. Some are currently in deployment stage.We have reviewed the current status of the tidal and marine current utilization as renewable sources. But In this paper, results of vast reviews about the utilization of tidal energy in the world will be only reported to meat the limitation of the available space.
